Conn. #6443 Large folio hand colored lithograph by Charles Herbert Moore of Catskill, New York. 17 3/8 x 23 3/8 inches overall; 13.10 x 20.40 inches image size. Original condition, some time toning mostly in the margins from the original matte and age. There is a small break in the upper left margin where the print had been hinged, but does not extend into the image.
Unmatted and unframed. A very attractive rural American landscape scene in the style of the Hudson River School and the only known work by Moore for Currier and Ives. Wider margins. Price: $1,450.00.

A fine impression with rich coloring and gum arabic, in original condition. A fine overall mellowing with some waterstains in the margins, and break in the upper right corner (piece attached), some minor dirt stains running vertically in the image, but overall a very rich impression with nice, original coloring.
