Excellent original condition. Exhibited at the National Academy of Design in New York in 1928, Sammy Houston won the Barnett prize. A version of the bronze is in the collection of the public library in Houston, Texas, the public library in Albany, where the artist is from and in the collection of Brookgreen Gardens, South Carolina.
