William Clark Noble sculpted the Joseph Jefferson Presentation Cup, made of nearly 1000 ounces of sterling silver, manufactured by Gorham Co., which this figure is part of the finished cup. The original cost of the cup was $2,100.00, the same cost as a three story home in Providence, RI, where the cup was cast.
